Volcanic eruption is a natural phenomenon. Volcanic lightning is caused by the hot ash and gas that she emits on a large scale when a volcano erupts. These volcanic ash and gases are called volcanic plume. Volcanic lightning is determined by the amount of volcanic plume emitted by a volcano.

When this splitting takes place on a large scale, the electrical exchange that takes place between the positively charged particles and the negatively charged particles in an attempt to contact each other are called volcanic lightning. The Eyjafjallajokull volcano, which erupted in Iceland in 2010, is one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recent history.
